James J. Andrews and his raiders are seen ready to depart after a swift attempt to set fire to the covered bridge at Resaca on April 12, 1862.  Due to the wet and rainy conditions, and the close pursuit of Capt. William Fuller and the 'Texas', the attempt failed.
